*note for charters going into Canada: You will not want to buy apples, potatoes, peaches, nectarines, or any other pitted fruit if going into Canada right away. You will need to turn the above items (or their pits in a plastic bag) in at Customs.

BREAD AND CRACKERS

  • 1 lg. whole wheat bread
  • 1 lg. Grain or seeded bread
  • 1 lg. sourdough bread
  • 1 doz. lg. rolls
  • 1 doz bagels
  • 3 boxes of cold breakfast cereal - Granola, Grape-nuts (large size), Corn Flakes
  • 1 lg bag potato chips
  • 1 bag nachos
  • 1 salsa
  • 1 lg Triscuit
  • 1 pkg Fig Newtons
  • 1 pkg chunky chocolate chip cookies
  • 2 other boxes snack crackers

OTHER FOOD

  • 1 doz tea bags (Earl Grey)

  • 1 sm pkg fettuccine or egg noodles (no Kluski)

  • 2 rolls paper towels
  • 1 sm roll saran wrap

PRODUCE

  • 2 Spinach or rich green lettuce
  • 1 Romain lettuce
  • 4 corn on cob if in season otherwise canned
  • 2 lbs fresh green beans (or enough for 1 dinner) or 2 cans if not in season.
  • 3 lbs. broccoli
  • 2 lbs. Asparagus (skinny)
  • 2 lemon
  • 1 garlic (big)
  • 2 lg onions

  • 4 8 oz. steaks (NY quality)
  • 4 lg. chicken breasts
  • 3-4 lb total of sliced ham, turkey, pastrami

DAIRY

  • 1 doz. eggs
  • 1 gal non-fat milk for breakfast cereal
  • 2 lbs. med cheddar cheese
  • 1-2 lbs. total of Swiss, Muenster, Gouda or Provolone cheese
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 lb butter
